Created in 2001, Trace One launched the first collaborative online platform in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode for managing the development and quality of private label products.
2009: Trace One announces the acquisition of Eqos. The new group becomes the European leader in solutions for managing private label products.
2012: Trace One announces the acquisition of Agentrics PLM serving the North American & Northern European market. Trace One's US Headquarters are also opened in Boston, MA.

- Oséo Prize for Innovation: Trace One was awarded the OSEO Prize as the most innovative technology company of 2006.
- Deloitte Technology Fast 50: In 2007, Trace One was ranked number 4 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for high-growth enterprises.
- Trophées GS1: In 2008, Kambly, the Swiss biscuit manufacturer, receives the Trophée GS1 (GS1 Trophy) in GDS (Global Data Synchronization) for its collaboration with Carrefour through the electronic catalogue tool Catalogic from Trace One.
