PRODUCTION PROJECT LEADER

Missions:

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Manager will manage a team of five in charge of the Trace One platforms and application environments installed In France and abroad.

The position reports to the Production and Operation team manager in France.

The Production Manager will manage current projects as well as new products, nationally and internationally.

Perform
• Participate in integrating new hardware and software into the existing system.
• Put in place and deploy new architectures
• Work with internal or external teams to put new projects in place
• Design and develop methods for monitoring and procedures for operations.
• Write the documentation associated with operations and services.
• Participate in the selection of tools.
• Define and manage repositories.
• Carry out acceptance, industrialization and implementation
• Suggest production improvements and optimizations taking account of volume and performance.

Exploit
• Install an operating system, application or production tool
• Deploy software on the servers
• Optimize and automate operations in environments and applications
• Guarantee operational character of implemented applications.
• Manage installations, migrations and new versions of applications.
• Launch operational tasks and monitor their execution. 
• Write and implement operating procedures.
• Select, order, and transmit pertinent information on activities.
• Participate in setting up quality indicators.
• Complete activity reports.

Incident management
• Handle change to applications in production, as well as monitor the quality of production (incidents, performance,...) in compliance with a service contract.
• Manage operating incidents (diagnostics, intervention, alerts) and track their progress.
• Treat and act as the point of contact for incidents and defects in service.
• Establish level 1 and level 2 diagnostics and corrections.
• Complete incident reports.
• Maintain the knowledge base for incidents and resolutions.
• Secure data (backups, archiving).
• Apply IT security rules and operating recommendations.

Maintain general conditions of production
• Ensure service after hours, to maintain general production conditions.
• Install hardware and software, and ensure level 1 and 2 maintenance
• Prepare statistics and reports for management.

Training / Experience:

• University degree or engineer
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Production project management, if possible in an international environment
