Provera chooses Trace One to accelerate innovation and fast-track the development of its private label

PROVERA, a buying group serving both the CORA hypermarket and MATCH supermarket chains, has just chosen the TRACE ONE collaborative platform for easily creating and tracking specifications with its suppliers for its private label products. With 2,500 specifications and private label representing nearly 25% of purchases in 2009, PROVERA has gone for a high-performance tool, the Product Specifications solution from Trace One, to streamline exchanges with manufacturers and save considerable time in getting products to market.
Private label - driving PROVERA's development strategy
Given the dynamic level of growth in the private label market and tough legislation, PROVERA is looking to accelerate innovation and ramp up the development of its private label products by strengthening its renewed product ranges in 2010, speeding up exchanges with suppliers and reducing the time to market.
"Thanks to the Trace One solution, we are going to accelerate innovation and the renewal of our product ranges in 2010, and we hope to reduce product development to six months," explains Marc-Antoine Schuck, Private Label Manager for Cora and Match supermarkets. PROVERA is aiming to increase private label volumes and revenues by 10% in 2010.

The Product Specifications solution is already known and used by 80% of Provera's suppliers: Trace One offers what has become a "gold-standard" platform for managing the quality and development of private label products since its creation in 2001.
