Trace One confirms plans to invest in Spain by opening a subsidiary to serve the key players in the private-label market: manufacturers, retailers and consumers

15 June, 2010 (Madrid). The leading European e-collaborative solution provider Trace One has confirmed plans to open up to the Spanish market by opening its subsidiary Trace One Ibérica.
After signing agreements with Carrefour España and Eroski, who are already working with their suppliers through this platform, Trace One has confirmed plans to become the leading supplier of collaborative solutions for manufacturers and retailers working together to optimize private-label product development.
To achieve that objective, Trace One provides a comprehensive platform enabling collaboration between private-label product manufacturers and retailers, and guaranteeing product food safety and quality.
Using Trace One manufacturers and retailers reap substantial benefits:
- It increases private-label product development management productivity by about 50% and cuts time-to-market by one or two months
- It facilitates exchanges between manufacturers and retailers

Four factors prompted Trace One to launch Trace One Ibérica:
- Provide a solution for the 400 Spanish manufacturers who already use Trace One to liaise with French retailers and want to use the same platform with Spanish retailers
- Support French retailers such as Carrefour and Auchan with their operations in Spain, where they have a prominent presence
- Penetrate the Spanish market, which is one of Europe’s most dynamic, with a 35.3% market share
- Use its foothold in the Spanish market as a springboard to other Southern European markets and on to Latin American markets
