In 2012, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) incorporated the third revision of the GHS Standard in the 29 CFR 1910.1200 standard, commonly known as HazCom. This standard specifies classification criteria, while also standardising label elements and chemical product information to be indicated in the SDS concerning the US market.
Right now, OSHA is working on harmonising the Hazard Communication Standard (HazCom) with the 7th UN GHS revision.
