Canada Includes Use of Aspergillus fijiensis Invertase in the List of Permitted Food Enzymes

On March 30, 2020, the Health Canada has notified the publication of the "NOM/ADM-0144 Notice of Modification to the List of Permitted Food Enzymes to Enable the Use of Aspergillus fijiensis as a Source Organism for Invertaseā€œ

In this document the List of Permitted Food Enzimes is modified regarding the allowed use of the Invertase enzyme derived from Aspergillus fijiensis.

The change has immediate effect.
