The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of the United States has recently issued the following updates regarding food pesticides:
- On May 30, 2019, new pesticide tolerances have been introduced for pyriofenone as issued in the Federal Register (FR). The regulation is applying from May 30, 2019.
- On May 31, 2019, and June 6, 2019, EPA published the new notices of receipt of requests to voluntarily cancel certain pesticide registrations and amend registrations to terminate certain uses. Check all the products involved on the agency numbers EPA-HQ-OPP-2018-0014 and EPA-HQ-OPP-2018-0014.
