What did Trace One and Selerant each bring to the merger?

The legacy Trace One brought a respected Private Label-focused PLM solution, strong European brand recognition, solid corporate structure, and a strong financial standing. Selerant offered a successful Process Manufacturing PLM and Regulatory Compliance Platform, a firm footing in North America, aggressive sales, as well as the flexibility and drive of a family-owned business.  

Today, the new Trace One is harnessing unmatched industry expertise and a vast regulatory database to reimagine CPG and Retail supply chains with an emphasis on collaboration, speed to market, and sustainability. The new entity provides the only suite of CPG-focused PLM and compliance solutions that supports the entire product lifecycle from ideation and production to retail and expansion.  

How will the merger impact me?

We are excited about what this merger means for our customers. Backed by global private equity group STG, the new Trace One offers greater scale and capabilities to serve you better. With more than 500 employees made up of 28 nationalities and 26 languages spoken, we can now provide access to extensive global coverage with focused local support. You will benefit from end-to-end 360° product life cycle and compliance management plus greater connections between manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers. This positive critical mass means expanded customer care, improved account management, and increased customer success. 

How will the new Trace One operate?

Trace One remains committed to continuous innovation, customer-centric solutions, and market leadership. The blending of corporate functions began in January of 2023. Processes and rules are being deployed progressively to limit disruptions to product development as well as customer service and support. Our goal is to make this a seamless transition for all our customers. 

How will the merger impact the product roadmap?

Trace One remains guided by an ambitious strategic roadmap. Our future is focused on continuous innovation, customer-centric solutions, and market leadership. We are set to unveil cutting-edge features and an expanded suite of solutions, equipping our customers to keep pace with evolving market trends, drive digital transformation, and achieve sustainable growth. 

Will there be staffing changes that affect me?

Trace One and Selerant came together with a commitment to retaining all existing staff, so there will be no disruption in your customer service and support teams. Moving forward, our focus is on growth for our company as well as our market share. In 2022, we recruited 50 new team members and look forward to continued expansion of our staff in the coming year.  

Do employees have the same email addresses as they did pre-merger?

All current employees have been combined onto the same email system. Legacy Trace One email addresses remain the same. Legacy Selerant email addresses have already been transferred to the Trace One system. All Trace One email addresses now follow this structure: first name.last name@traceone.com.  

Example: john.doe@traceone.com. 

Will there be changes to products, pricing, warranties, contracts, or quotes?

Trace One is committed to delivering the same industry-leading products, services, and support offered by the legacy companies at the same price. All existing warranties, contracts, and quotes remain valid as signed, and all existing commitments are guaranteed. 

Will there be any changes to the Devex, Hazex, or CC solutions?

No. All solutions as well as their delivery methods and access information remain the same. 

Will service quality or policies change?

Trace One remains committed to the same standards of quality in our solutions, policies, and practices that you have come to expect. We are currently working to expand our staffing so we can expand our support and services. Upgrades and improvements will be the only changes you see. 

Do I have to use a different solution, migrate to a new platform, or change my username and password?

No. Your current solutions as well as their delivery methods and access information remain the same. However, we are constantly improving our user experience to serve you better. 

Who should I contact if I have a question or concern?

Your point of contact, account manager, or sales representative remains the same. Please feel free to reach out to them with any questions, problems, or concerns. We will notify you if there are any staffing changes that impact your account.
