About Dorothée Arns
Dorothée is Director General of the European Association of Chemical Distributors (Fecc). Her career in the chemical industry began at BASF, Germany where she held senior management positions in marketing, sales, eCommerce and controlling. Between 2013-2019 Dorothée was Executive Director of Petrochemicals Europe at Cefic previously having been Director General of the European Solvents Industry Group from 2006 to 2011. Dorothée has established herself as a leading voice for the Chemicals sector and built an extensive network of contacts within the EU institutions and beyond. Dorothée studied in Germany, Ireland and Spain and holds Master degrees in business administration and in applied languages & linguistics.
