Australia Modifies Import Conditions of Decrowned Pineapples

eu-proposes-import-tolerances-for-the-pesticide-deltamethrin (3) (1)-3On April 18th, 2024, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry - Australian Government published restructuring of “Import conditions for fresh decrowned pineapples”.

The Notice entails following modifications:

  • Import from Philippines, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Taiwan have been restructured;
  • Concern on outlining the biosecurity pests and revision in offshore management measures;
  • Carton labeling requirements for traceability;
  • Affects Importers of Pineapples, Biosecurity Imports Support Team (BIST), and Pathway Operations Cargo.
