On August 22, 2019, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) of the European Union (EU) has issued new notifications of food recalls:
- Salmonella enterica in chilled chicken wings from Poland (3007, 2019.3009) and in soybean meal from Brazil (2019.3004).
- Foodborne outbreak suspected to be caused by canned tuna in sunflower oil or grated carrots from Spain (3001) and another to be caused by norovirus in frozen seaweed salad from China, via Denmark (2019.3003).
- High content of iodine in seaweed from China (2991)
