On March 06 and 10, 2020, the European Union (EU) has published multiple recalls on the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).
Food containing microbiological indicators of safety and contaminants have been affected:
- High content of acrylamide in salted chips from Italy (2020.1092)
- Listeria monocytogenes in chilled herring fillets from Italy (2020.1140) and in ready-to-eat chicken meat products from France (2020.1132);
- Salmonella enterica ser. Enteritidis in chilled chicken broiler thigh meat from Poland (2020.1130)
