European Union (EU) Recalls New Food Commodities, July 2019

On July 8, 2019, new notifications of food recalls have been published on the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) of the European Union (EU).
The following agents have been identified:
- Salmonella in organic sesame seeds from Uganda (2019.2464, 2019.2465) and from India (2019.2462) and black pepper from Brazil (2019.2457, 2019.2467).
- Aflatoxins contaminating groundnuts from Suzan (2019.2460, 2019.2468).
- Mercury detected in chilled vacuum packed yellofin tuna loins from Spain (2019.2455) and chilled little tunny from Spain (2019.2452).
