Korea Notifies Updates in Food Standards and Specifications (No. 2019-16)

On March 8, 2019, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MSDF) of Korea posted the notification “Food Standards and Standards (Food Administration Notice No. 2019-16).”
The document includes the following measures:
- Revision of standards for preservation and distribution of food commodities;
- New tolerance residue levels for pesticides in agricultural products and veterinary drugs in food.
The amendment repealed “Food Standard and Specifications (No.2019-7)” and has entered into force on March 8, 2019.
