A journey into the obligations of chemistry at the end of the transitional regime introduced by the REACH Regulation
In the heart of Milan, in the frame of the historic "Franco Parenti" Theater, the first edition of the event in collaboration between Normachem and Trace One just took place.
The convention Normachem / Trace One was for many insiders the opportunity to take stock with experts in the field of Regulatory as well as with the authorities of the sector from the Lombardy Region and the Ministry of Health.
The turnout was remarkable with about 250 participants from different backgrounds; Small / medium enterprises and multinationals representatives, companies from North and South Italy, producers and distributors. The conference followed 2 distinct flows;
- Together with the intervening authorities, the consequences at the end of the transitional regime were discussed from a regulatory point of view, together with the new orientations and challenges of the European policy for the management of chemical products.
The focus in particular was on the strategies of intervention of the Lombardy Region - With Trace One and Normachem experts, instead, space was given to the technical and practical details in which the companies are involved to comply with the REACH regulation, in particular the new UFI system and the management of exposure scenarios for substances and mixtures.
We hope that this will be the beginning of a long-term collaboration between Trace One and Normachem and that it will become an important reference point for all professionals.
