South Africa Regulates Grading, Packing and Marking of Eggs Intended for Sale

On March 20, 2020, the South African Government has published the "Agricultural Product Standards Act: Regulations: Grading, packing and marking of eggs intended for sale in South Africa“.
The document includes restrictions on the sales of eggs, indications on sizing and grading of eggs, containers and outer containers, marking requirements, sampling and examination, validity period for production method requirements and offences and penalties.
