Managing label specifications requires regulatory teams to know which information is current while maintaining access to previous versions when they need to review the history of a product or project. Version control within PLM software can help make both tasks easier by keeping changes and regulatory information organized in one system.
Lindsay Runnels, Regulatory Compliance Manager at Ghirardelli, explains why version control on label specifications is her favorite feature in Trace One Devex PLM. From a regulatory perspective, she uses the capability to quickly identify the most current regulatory information associated with a label specification.
Version control also gives Lindsay the ability to look back at historical information for a product or project. This provides visibility into both the current version and the information that came before it without losing the history behind changes.
In this video, Lindsay explains how version control in Trace One Devex PLM supports her regulatory work by helping her identify current regulatory information quickly and easily review the history associated with Ghirardelli’s products and projects.
“As a regulatory professional, my favorite feature in Devex is the version control on the label specifications. With version control, it helps me to quickly identify what’s the most current regulatory information and allows me to easily look at the history on a product or a project.”
