Paris, May 25th, 2016: Trace One today announced that Intermarché will roll out the Trace One platform across Portugal and Poland following successful deployment in France. The quality policy established across its Private Label products will ensure a collaborative, faster and more secure development process with suppliers.

As well as recognizing the know-how of its producers, Intermarché is committed to highlighting the quality of its products by displaying the country of origin and production methods used as transparently as possible. “Having tested this approach in France, we have decided to use the Trace One collaborative platform in Portugal and Poland. We’re also looking to improve communication with our suppliers, increase traceability and supply even safer products to our clients,” explains Mr. Gourgeon, manager of own-brands at Intermarché.

Long-lasting partnerships guarantee that all resources have value-add, meaning the Intermarché value chain is stronger, and the work they do can be advertised to consumers. “The information shared between Intermarché and its suppliers is invaluable in order to guarantee high-quality products at the best possible prices,” continues Mr. Gourgeon.

Trace One is a collaborative software vendor for consumer products and gives its clients the option of using product specifications as contracts between the brand and its suppliers. “We are delighted in the confidence Intermarché has shown in us by choosing our solution for the development of its own-brand products at an international level.” says Shaun Bossons, Executive Vice President at Trace One.
